About Us
The Story of Little Willows
Little Willows is owned and operated by Ben and Christie Boring, who are a Husband and Wife team, with a family of 6 children. Little Willows actually began as just “Willows'' back in 2020. It evolved into Little Willows in January, 2023 in honor of our children and grandchildren. Each aspect of Little Willows is named after one of our grandchildren, and as we are blessed with more, we will continue the tradition. At this time, we have The Briar Patch (the florals) and Indigo's Impressions (the embroidery). With a 3rd Granddaughter now here, we have decided to call our event planning Emersyn’s Events.
Christie has enjoyed preparing florals for weddings and proms for over 20 years. It has been her passion to see a prom or wedding come to life with the flowers and centerpieces that she has prepared. You provide the inspiration, she will provide the design. In early 2023, an opportunity of a lifetime came along. Ben and Christie were offered to purchase an already established wedding and event planning business that had tons of inventory. This helped with the decision to turn our business into an LLC. Thus, Little Willows Weddings, Events, and Designs, LLC was born!
Ben has been busy remodeling the barn to accommodate his new toys; the router and the laser. He has been making candle holders, bird houses and other wood designs for several years now. Ben was able to expand his designs with the purchase of the router and laser and can personalize any sign or wood design and has even tried his hand at lighted personalized wood signs! If you can dream it, he can make it and personalize it! Many of these products can be used at weddings and events!
Christie has also always enjoyed sewing and embroidery. It was decided in 2022 to add the 10-needle embroidery machine to the mix, which enabled us to have Indigo's Impressions. Virtually any article of clothing can be personalized and a wide variety of images can be digitized into an embroidery design.
Coming soon to Little Willows will be the Plotter. With this, we will be able to make vinyl cuts on a much larger scale than that of a Cricut. This will expand our ability to make different types of personalized signs and banners.
The Little Willows Team is excited to help plan your next Event or Wedding with our wide variety of inventory that can be used for props and decor. We set ourselves apart from the others, because in addition to the florals, decor, rentals and event planning, we have the ability to personalize items with our embroidery and wood-working services.
